Asics vs. New Balance gym shoes

I forgot every part of about my “little” blog!  I’m just not into this cram I guess….never been much of a diary keeper, obstruction alone blogger.  Oh well.

Updated related to last post:  Nothing to give an account of — I haven’t started any steady habits that in truth benefit my health.  I haven’t been to the gym, harbor’t made many conscious diet changes, etc. etc.  I’m at the same lively turn of thought, just it’s later in the year.  Surprising right

I wanted to conversation shoes today – it’s related because it’s running shoes with regard to all that running I do!  Ahem, well whatever.  Anyway, I’ve been unconditionally hating my gym shoes for the past 2 years.  Yes I’ve had the same shoes as I’m a sandals wearer for 6 months out of the year.  My tennies utmost longer that way.  I bought the Asics (1st pair of this reproach.) Gel Nimbus 9′s and I can’t stand them.  From promised time one, they weren’t real comfortable but I continued to be consumed by slow degrees them.  This past year they started rubbing the soles of my feet forward like the outside edge/rim and it felt like I was acquisition those blisters that happen under calluses (not sure if I was, no more than it hurt!).  Also, my feet would start to feel like they were going stupefy in them when I was sitting at my desk or flat working out but especially when I was doing physical activity!  I started contemplation something was wrong with me physically because I’ve in no degree had shoes do that before.  Weird!  I really noticed it when I was doing all that walking in DC back in Feb.  Ugh.

Anyway, I just bought a pair of New Balance (my 1st ones) 1064′s.  I should be seized of bought these in the first place, as these are super comfy.  My mom is ~y avid NB wearer and I didn’t want to veer “mom” shoes as she’s pretty far from courtly.  Never again will I buy Asics…perhaps I’ll have existence loyal to NB.  Don’t know for sure though.  The sole brand loyalty I have is for my cell phone provider   Everything other, I’m a tough customer to keep I guess!

In contingency you’re wondering, my foot profile is the following:

size 11-12 wide in women’s, size 10.5 in men’s (finely an 11) standard width….I buy men’s shoes because they are wider, and can take a heavier body better than titbit ladies shoes (and 11/12 wide women’s shoes are acid to find, but any store carries a 10.5 men’s)

tend to be an underpronator — walk on the outside edge of my paw more

heel striker when I walk, forefoot striker when I jog

I bought the NB1064′s from Zappos.com, and they had a bonny good product description of what you should buy for an underpronating lower extremity.  Zappo’s is awesome!  Always buy my shoes there.  I also bought some insoles (again, my 1st pair) to try.  I’ve been unsure respecting wearing them because I don’t want to weaken my curve muscles, so I haven’t yet tried them out…that may have existence an unfounded statement, I’m not sure what the verity is on insoles.  But they are the Spenco Gel insoles.  I used some gel heel cups when I wore my rock-hard sole Dr. Marten’s back in the epoch, and that helped my heels stop hurting.  We’ll look how this goes.
