Doing laundry should be a fairly simple and straightforward process. Aside from the aggravation of a lot of people doing laundry at once it really shouldn’t cause a lot of stress. Went into the laundry room and thought it would go smoothly since all the washing machines were free. Then I tried to reload my card since the machines don’t take cash. That was a colossal fail. Called the company that makes the machine and they said it was a problem with the bank. Called the bank and they said it wasn’t them. Called the apartment and turns out it’s because there is no dedicated line. Get money on my card and then accidentally left my USB drive in my jeans…. went through the wash. Good news is that I took it out, plugged it in, and it works… for now. Backed everything up that was on it just in case.
