Attorney, mediator, speaker and consultant, Stewart Levine will teach Negotiation at top ranked University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall Law School. Levine’s course will use content based on his research and models from his books, including “Getting to Resolution.”
Stewart Levine, author of Getting to Resolution and The Book of Agreement will join the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall Law School teaching staff this fall. US News & World Report ranked the school seventh in the country.
Levine, a creative problem solver widely recognized for creating agreement and empowerment in the most challenging circumstances, aims to introduce to the curriculum principles and practices that foster negotiation as a means of satisfying the highest aspirations of all parties involved.
Levine said, “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to influence the posture and shape of the negotiation style of future leaders.”
Levine’s work centers around improving productivity while saving the enormous cost of conflict. His work has been based on his observations as a lawyer and a marketing executive. He has worked with individuals, couples, partners, law firms and small and large organizations of all kinds. His models for problem solving, collaboration and conflict resolution have been reviewed by the House Judiciary Committee. Levine also teaches collaboration, communication and conflict management skills for the American Management Association and the International Partnering Institute.
