Inc. magazine has ranked Imagine Learning the nation’s eighth fastest-growing private company in the education industry with an overall ranking of 533 on its fourth annual Inc. 5000. This exclusive list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the US economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.
“The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs,” said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. Despite difficult economic circumstances, Imagine Learning has seen significant growth over the past three years.
Since its founding in 2004, Imagine Learning has partnered with educators in the majority of US states to bring its language and literacy software program, Imagine Learning English, to English learners, struggling readers, students with disabilities, and early childhood education students.
Dianne de Mik, instructional designer for Imagine Learning, attributes the widespread use of Imagine Learning English to both the company’s experienced employees and its responsiveness to customers’ needs.
