PKA Technologies, Inc. today announced that its President and CTO, Peter Katz, has been appointed to the Intel Solution Provider Advisory Council. During his tenure, Peter will advise Intel on its development of new products, channel program benefits and other concerns of Intel® Technology Provider Program members.

The Intel Solution Provider Advisory Council consists of the top members of the Intel Technology Provider Program. As a council member, Mr. Katz will play a key advisory role in helping Intel develop products that are relevant to resellers’ customer needs, and channel program benefits that keep members competitive in the marketplace. The council also provides Intel’s channel membership with a consolidated voice heard by Intel senior management.

Mr. Katz is a 30-year veteran of the IT industry, with extensive experience in open-systems, storage, and traditional legacy based systems from HP, DEC, Compaq and IBM. He is known for his ability to articulate complex technical concepts into useful business-enabling solutions. He has designed, implemented and managed thousands of IT infrastructure projects that have covered the full IT spectrum of high-end solutions: high performance computing (i.e. clustering, grid), storage management (i.e. archive, SAN, DR/BC), and operating system management (HP-UX, OpenVMS).
